About Us

Welcome to the Internet Home of the Akron Cardinals Baseball Team

2008 is our 7th season in NEO Roy Hobbs Baseball

The Akron Cardinals compete in the Northeast Ohio Open Division of Roy Hobbs Baseball, a national organization that boasts over 500 teams around the world.

We are a group of friends who believe that playing baseball should not end at age twenty-two.  While Major League Baseball players fight over multi-million dollar contracts, we fight to get to games and practices after we work our regular jobs.  Our days are not spent in training rooms; they are spent as project managers, students, construction workers, computer programmers and delivery drivers.
